is there a way to test IACV???
is there a way to test IACV???
i know i have a bad iacv but i bought a used one and the car stays idleing at 1500 rpms (could be another bad one though). i was wondering if anyone knows a way to test an iacv so i can know weather its my iacv or my ecu? i pulled the ecu and nothing looks burnt and it doesnt have any smell of something frying in it. any ideas?

i looked it up on all data and i did it today at work. still does the same thing. for some reason when i rev up and let it idle back down it stops at 1500 rpms and goes back up to 2000 and then down to about 700 unless im driveing and it seems to do whatever it wants too and then idle down to about 700
There is a proceedure in the FSM. it starts with measuring voltage on 4 different pin of the ECU and then you check some voltages at the connector that plugs on to the IACV.
