Lightweight brake rotors?

I did the 6th gen BBK on my 5th gen and the rotors are heavy as *****, are there any lightweight rotors out there, even saving a few lbs would make a big difference!

Funny this thread came up. I was gonna switch from my 300zx calipers + 13" rotor setup to the 6th gen setup thinking that I would save a few pounds. But when I compared the 6th gen rotors to the cobra rotors, the 6th gen rotors felt slightly heavier according to my "hand scale".

there are many options for lighter rotors...but you are going to pay for them...they arent cheap

IMO, not worth the money on these cars

Yea, last time I checked, they were in the $400 range for the 2pc rotors alone...

If your able to take the rotor you want as a 2pc give Coleman racing a ring. Same company Matt and I used. My 2pc rotors where made for the stillen 2 piston BBK. I sent them my rotor and the made 2pc versions. www.colemanracing.com.
