A little background here would help.

Why do you want to ground it?

I've been reading about it lately and a while back. my car some times run like a champ and other times it's just don't seem like the power isn't there. mods are nwp spacers GAB mod flow master muffler and gutted cat, and timing advanced.

Check the VIAS setup... I was recently there, I had a wonky VIAS. I removed it and blocked it, never a problem with power being intermittent again.
