trunk button on new fob doesnt work, does it have to be programmed?

trunk button on new fob doesnt work, does it have to be programmed?

i bought a new fob key b/c the unlock one on my old was broken i programmed the key to work and the unlock and lock work but the truck one or panic wont work, do these have to be programmed seperately and if so how do u do it?

No, they are not programmed seperately. Do you make sure you push and HOLD the trunk button? It is not simply a push then *POP* it opens....must hold for a couple seconds.
