Two different Moog outer tie rod ends?

Anyone know what the difference is between the two parts? Need to replace mine on my 02' and want to go Moog but there's two part numbers. ES3407 is a buck or two more than ES3438.

Not sure the difference off hand, but get the 3438's, that's what I have on mine.

Perfect! Thanks.

Weird they have two different models, almost identically priced and description identical other than the obvious slight visual difference on the seal.

My best friend works for Federal Mogul

ES3438 is the correct number for the outers.

EV458 for the inners in case you need them.

Thanks for the info guys. The 3438 is what I'll order. One inner has already been replace. I ordered two inner rods when I did the first one so I'll be ready for when the next one goes.

Cheers.

i am surprise this site don't even have the dust cap to the tie rod if i just want to replace, instead of the entire outer tie rod.
