C-ya guys later, it was nice

It was fun guys, every second of all six years but I must move on. I really appreciate all the help everyone has givin me and all the comments on my car. I would also like to thank maxima.org and all the moderators for creating such an awesome site and maintaining it so well. I replaced my maxima with a 1998 nissan 240sx. It was an automatic owned by a 50 year old till my friend bought it and 5 speed swapped it. Then he did the following mods to the suspention and added some nice touches to the body. I plan on adding the JDM rear bumper to match the front and side skirts. Then Im going to ether put an S15 SR20DET or an LS2 in it next summer. I havent decided yet but I have a really good idea on what each will cost. Im going to miss this site and I will still be poping in from time to time.

Thanks, and here is the new car:

Front 17X9 +17 (also running a 5mm spacer for an actual fitment of +12) and Rear 18X9.5 +20 Work Emotion CR Kai's.

Tein FLEX Coilovers With Front Pillowball mounts.
Battle Version toe arms
SPL Ruca's
SPL Tension Rods
Nismo Powerbrace
SPL Subframe Spacer
JDM S14 VLSD
Exedy Stage 1 Clutch
Cusco FSTB
300ZX Brakes on all four corners with working ebrake
Apex'i Dual N1 Catback exhaust.

My maxima made:

75 shot 240hp 315ft/lb torque
150shot 309hp 427ft/lb torque only made one good run because of clutch slip after the first run.

That was with the bottle heater, three fans and ice on the intake and intake manifold.

110k, and the 5 speed swap was done at 105k by wes at unnatural inc.. It was owned by an old man before my friend got it and did all of this work and oly drove it 7k. The old man did all the factory recommended maintenance down to the air filter changes. The book is filled with stamps and check marks.

No, my transmission blew and he needed a 4 door. I traded him the max plus some cash on top.

^ ya its my daily driver and its a blast. Driving was good in my maxima but in this car its just amazing. I drove a 73 mile twisty road to the beach last weekend, I had the best time. This car is so light and handles epicly good. It dose ride rough but that has never bothered me, my maxima road rough.

very nice, good luck to you and whatever your daily driving will bring, those 240s are classic.

daily driving modded cars are allways fun/challenging to say the least.
