The kill forum is completely gone, since then the mods have frowned upon any mention of street racing.

just sayin, its a turbo car so a 5.5 will have a better power curve, it will have power over a broader range compared to the MS3. but once in the top end, the MS3 will have the advantage.

Wow, ain't gonna lie...when I was 17 I was actually into it. Didn't get track-oriented til I was in my early 20's.

This must be un-patrolled forum territory for this thread to last this long lol.

Street racing isn't worth it since the cops take your car away. Losing your license for a bit sucks, but losing your car!? Screw the safety risks, that is what keeps me from doing it.

Also, I don't see why people flip out over the street-racing threads. Wow, people illegally race cars on the street! Wow, lots of people like racing a car with 255 HP stock at the crank! Wow, people like street racing when their car is pretty quick!

No one (government, Nissan, Honda) is monitoring this forum to hand out fines for "encouraging" street racing. No dumb kid is going to read about it on the Maxima forum and go "OHH I NEVER THOUGHT OF THAT LOL IMA DO IT NOW LOL." YouTube is all that's needed to rob a kid's innocence today, so who cares if ignorant folk pop up on here and write useless threads bragging about how their car is faster than some other car?

We ban for street racing threads b/c its dangerous and illegal. We don't want to encourage illegal racing. People DIE from street racing, if you had any brains you'd take it to the track...

So we are allowed to talk about legal track racing then, right? BTW our city has been without a dragstrip now for a few years. People around here are getting really jittery with withdrawls!

Take a look at those links and I think you will understand why street-racing discussion is not allowed on the org.

Really? Were trying to lock this ban infested thread and you bring in another story about street racing!?

Damn, thats just terrible. It was odd reading the first thread about his shifting and then seeing him not respond after the posting of that car crash thread...

as long as i've been around and as long as ive been a member, the whole .org frowns upon this activity (even though most of us do it)
i hope someday they re-open it again. it'd be cool to see what kind of cars the sleeper max can take out.
