I'm just sayin -- I DID search for over 30 minutes, and didn't find a thing!

I appreciate you posting that....but what I MEANT is that I was "hoping" to get some feedback posted on the thread from somebody WITH this grill.

I guess I just shoulda kept my yap shut and waited for them to come-along.

Sorry for the can we all just get along now?!

Ahhhhh - Perfect!

And mounted on a Black Car....exactly what i was looking for.

Thks Sexima.

I'm trying to decide whether to paint the OEM, or get the Grille.

Seems like ALOT of empty space between the headlights without the Nissan Logo there?!?!

gr

**Btw: Easy install???***

Maybe that will make the car look wider. They always look narrow to me.

install??? lol a blind guy with one hand could put it in under 5 minutes lol
probably take longer to take the oem grille out.... its 3 8mm nuts that hold it in easy as pie!

and i love how it makes the front look with no emblem....not too much space for me

Yes it does. Do what rroderiques77 did, and slap a NISMO emblem in there.

And Nate, Scarface was being helpful. He's not familiar with your friendly banter, is all.

Here's one without the emblem:

IDK... I think I prefer the stock grill. The thing with grills like this is how transparent they can be from a straight-on perspective. At a slight angle, it looks awesome. But straight on, and you would be able to see the cross-members, and my misshapen, rusty horns.

At the elevated angle in this photo, it looks fantastic. Particularly with the NISMO emblem. Not so much straight-on, though.

Yeah - I agree Rochester.

I was thinking the same thing -- and even considered some kind of "shroud" behind the grill....but that's just too much work/money.

I think I'm going to stick with painting the OEM grill, and see how that turns-out.
If I'm unsatisified -- $40 for this one isn't a terrible price to pay for an "experiment".

Thanks for everybody's input.

Try slapping a Nissan burger on it. I wonder what that would look like.

Dug this one out of the vault. Do guys remember when this freaking Ebay company stole my look for their ad? This is where I got my grill, for free of course...

If conjoined twins can be separated at birth -- you can separate that grill from the bumper.
Nobody said it was gonna be easy!

I like the large NISSAN burger in the grill, too.

I'm pretty sure the 5.0 gen and 5.5 gen grills are slightly different, so that they aren't interchangeable.

Was looking at my grill last night (with this tread in mind), trying to see how easy it was to un-clip... haven't figured it out yet, but I also haven't searched the Org for answers either. My thinking is that the horns are much easier to replace if the grill is removed, yes?

Well, you should see my horns. It looks like they were made out of clay and mud by a blind quadriplegic.

A pair of red Hella Horns might be just what daddy needs...

Um, no. Stock grill for me. I don't want to advertise.

The only thing I would consider would be the burger-delete... and as I said, I rather like the burger.

Funny, but in my head I keep reading "phatabolism", whatever that means.

It's only just now that I realized it was "fat boy slim".

Um, carry on.

LOL......I was thinking the same exact thing for probably 2 years.....it was just in the past few months that I realized what his name really was.

I was thinking it was a play on words type thing with "fat" and "metabolism" combined with the ph spelling of fat.......

But then I realized what it was and felt like a complete moron

I am by no means old (unless you consider 30 old?)

'Praise You' was at its peak when I was in college so I am quite familiar with fatboy slim.....it was the different spelling that threw me off.

+1 for the burger. I am trying to have mine sprayed in "Black Chrome" effect, so we'll see how that comes out.

The grille is easy. Three nuts on the back towards the top of the grille, and there are clips on the bottom. Once you undo the nuts, pull the grille out. The burger is on by a few clips IIRC.

I figure if I pull the car up on ramps, it will be really obvious based on these tips. Thanks, Zero!
