FCP Import LCA Kit?

Hi All,

Not sure if anyone has noticed but theres a LCA Kit on sale from FCP Import in the group deals section for 140 shipped for a pair, complete with ball joints tie rods and the LCAs.

I was planning on replacing shocks and struts this weekend and at the same time changing my ball joints and tie rod ends and Sway bar endlinks and bushings. All of these right now are Moog.

My car has 120k right now and to my knowledge, none of it has been changed. Is it a better idea to go for this group deal or stick with the moog parts? How long do LCA's typically last? Since this is a pretty good deal, should I just take the time to replace the LCA's as well?

Also, has anyone had any experience with the FCP Import products? How do they stack up to moog?

Guys I am not going to BS you. These are great aftermarket pieces that we have been selling for a few years now. We use the same company for our Murano, 240sx's, and the maxima's. Moog is a great company who happens to be owned by TRW. We are just able to buy in bulk and give you guys the deal. Try us out and I am confident you will be pleased.

The 5th gen kit if there is enough interest I will post up an official group buy at the 140 shipped price. Thank you for supporting us.

subscribed. If the FCP kit is as good as moog/oem, that's a great deal!

Anyone on here a tech or really good with the 5th Gen Maxima's? I will give away a kit for the sole purpose of installing and using it. The catch. Full write up of the install with pictures and review of the after installation (Road Test) , 1k ,3k miles down the road. Easy enough, anyone want to be my tester. Email me at ellisonc@fcpgroton.com.

$140 for a pair is a really good deal. Im not really happy with my ES bushings down there, so I might grab these.

's the problem with the ES bushing's that you're unhappy with them?

I should have hit you up a few weeks ago. Just ordered some. Had I known, I would have gone with this kit.

I guess I could always send them back.

By all means, you might have better luck than me. I imagine the Northeast might've had an effect on them.

P.S. PM me back!

FCP, I sent you an email and want to know if the parts would work for a 5.5 gen. I am not sure if the 5th gen LCA's (2000 and 2001) are necessarily the same ones as the 5.5 gens (2002 and 2003) since despite the similar model, there are differences not only with the engine, but with some suspension components as well such as struts.

These kits do fit up to a 2003's. I will be getting back to everyone on a decision for the installation kit. I am leaving this open for a couple more days to allow more people to respond. Final decision will be Monday.

so these things are moog parts or just as good as moog parts? ive got some ES bushings that need to be installed but these LCAs with eveything else sounds like a good deal. i could just throw the bushings on those then put them on the car. im interesred for sure.

what would shipping run on them? i imagine they arent light

140.00 Shipped for the 5th gen kits. Like I've said they are not Moog but they are a great choice at a better price.

I'd be your "test-subject" for the free kit, but I don't drive enuff miles lately to provide good data.
THAT, and I don't need to install the TieRods or Sway Bar Links just yet....mine are still ok -- for NOW.

I'll be emailing you shortly.

ELlison: there's ALOT of guys buying MOTOR MOUNT Bushings lately on the 5th gen forum. Any chance your company can put together a KIT for these?!
There's a few on Ebay that are selling sets of 4 shipped for about $100.00.
*hint-hint*.

I was gonna order this kit when I get some cash in my hand. And wether moog is or is not superior to what FCP sells, the price at which he sells it for is more than enough to justify buying this over buying moog (or ES for that matter)

Either way, if your not 100% satisfied with this product even at this amazingly low price, you can still change out the bushings and what not to a better brand in the future. If your looking for a stock replacement though, these should work fine. I'm definately getting this kit when I come up on some cash.

I put about average miles on as well. I also live in Philly, a good chance to see how these stack up to a NE winter in a city with a ton of potholes all over lol. Also need to replace these parts as you can see in my first post.

I can't find the thread in GD section. Is this the kit? If it comes with inner tie rods, that's an insane deal!

FCP Import-

Just browsed you site; you guys have some good stuff at great prices!

Do you ship out of CT? I know that is probably to much to ask the of the parts Gods, a great 1-day source of parts

What is the brand of the parts in the kit that are sold at FCP Groton? Where are they made? I think it was OE Chassis brand last time I checked.

I was interested too in this kit but went with OEM since I wasn't sure about the quality.

We use an array of vendors pending the market and the vehicle of course. On the kits for the Maxima's we are using a company out of China for them. We use them for all of our Murano 240's and such for control arms kits.

And yes we stand by the quality of all of our parts. One year warranty standard and if installed by ASE certified tech free lifetime warranty. If the DIY'er is doing the work then pay ten percent of the cost of goods and you have a lifetime warranty.

Same as stock. For the lowered cars obviously there is extra strain on parts so use your best judgment.

For everyone's sake, I guess the LCA clears the rotor? Even with the 6th gen BBk setup?

I don't want to create a thread like this :

Thanks
