STS options

Is twm and ebay my only options? I also read that with the Ralco I would have to make my shifter housing wider? Wtf?

I am confused as well. You stated that you have both an auto and a manual.

Search around...there's a thread somewhere on how to make a STS for about $15 with some parts from Home Depot.

Technically, for the 95-01 5MT maximas, you can just cut the shifter down. But I never recomend that. It makes it harder to get into gears and easier to miss shift. I've driven maximas with STS and IMO, the stock shifter w/ stock **** feels way better. Leave it stock unless you just like the way smaller shifter looks.

I have a ralco on my car its not hard to install all u have to do is dremel the shield where the shifter drops down to clear the body. Its very minor my whole install took under an hour.

So the Ralco is alright? Is there a difference from TWM?

Ralco is for the 5 spd trans, TWM is for the 6 spd transmissions.

TWM also makes a 5 speed STS.
