How do you put the motor back in timing?

I have an 03 6spd max. pulling off both heads because of a failed compression test, cyl#4 showed no compression what so ever. After a few test figured out that i had an intake valve(s) stuck open in that cylinder. So im pulling both heads off to do a 3 angle valve job, re-seal the valves, new head gaskets and i will be shaving the head .020 thousanths of an inch. Im not exactly sure how to put the cams back in timing. I've looked but couldnt find a how to thread on this.

well it started with a misfire, which got worse and worse and time went on. i got a p0335 and a p0300. so i removed the intake manifold to replace the spark plugs and check the coil packs in the rear of the motor only to find out i had to replace the valve cover due to a bad tube seal which i thought was where my misfire came from but i was wrong. since i had a p0335 (bad crank sensor code) i replaced the crank sensor and put everything back together...... and nothing. still getting the same bad misfire. the p0335 went away but the misfire did not. For some reason the misfires got even worse, to the point where the car wouldn't idle, unless i gave and held throttle, it would sputter to a stall. i then noticed i was getting backfires through my intake, and my IM smelled of gasoline. That lead me to the compression test confirming i had a bad intake valve, which brings me here today.

For sure use the FSM.
The VQ is a little trickier than some.. i did the timing on my Saturn and it was easy, but on the VQ it's got secondary and primary chains to time. Take your time.
