problems after programming remote

ok so the remote i had for my I35 did not have a trunk button on it. so i swapped remotes with my friend who has a 07 sentra. she had a trunk button on the remote but the car didn't have that option. anyway i swapped remotes, programmed my remote to her car, and her remote to my car. it worked! BUT now both remotes lock and unlock both cars. why is that? and how can a remote work on 2 cars? i need to fix it because we work at the same place and everytime i unlock/lock my car, he car is doing the same.

Do the reprogramming on your car with that remote about 4-5 times and the keyfob will forget her triggering frequency. Seems this is a "issue" with Nissan transmitters.

Have had to do this before. 4 to 5 times should do the trick.
