Water in HID Ballast Now I got different color HID in Fogs

So I have Fog lights which has HId in them 8000k (blue/white) The Driver side started to flicker 2 days ago. I went to get it check and the Shop I got it installed took out the Ballast he said and there was water in it. I guess for me washing the car too much. However he installed another Ballast and the light looks a lil whiter than ma other fog light. He said wait for it to warm up . "Yea Whateva". The bulb wasnt changed or anything. Sorry for a Nooobie ??? but does the ballast determines the color of the HId??? And is there any way to correct that so hey can match evenly?

The only way you will get them to match up perfectly again is to buy a matching set. You could try replacing the other ballast with the same kind that is on the other one now.

Like mrood said, get a matching set. The new ballast is stronger than the older one that is probably the reason why the color changed, but $150 for a kit??? C'mon there is no competition on hid kits now a days. Kits start from as low as $30 a kit unless you want good quality high end products like Philips, McCulloch, etc.
