Maxima.org donations

I hope everyone has seen the link at the top of the pages about the Maxima.org donation site. I plan to donate once I've learned how the money will be used and how many others plan to help out. Who all plans to send money? You can say how much too if you want

I met a Mercury Cougar owner and the people in their forums do a raffle for aftermarket parts. Like the forum owner will buy an item, then the forum dwellers pay $20 to enter the raffle. The raffle winner gets the prize, the forum owner will hopefully make more than he spent for the item, and whatever he makes will go into financing the forums. Personally I don't mind chipping in for the health of the forums, but more people might chip in if there's a chance to win an FSTB or something cool. We might even talk to Stillen or Cattman to supply the prize since it helps promote their product. Don't fear the change people, embrace it!

actually....

show up at the next maxus (and/or other meets). Jambo and other organizers bust their rump to get all kinds of goodies/swag/booty/loot together for attendies. So, in a way, you are giving to just such a fund.

I'm a donkey

it took me 4 tries to register with Paypal. Oh yeah, I actually had to listen to the audio to get the grid numbers correct. Once I had that it turned out I allready had a Paypal account, must have been my wife. Either way I am a donkey.

Check out the site announcement section. He tells what it is used for there.

I've gotten more than $20 worth of entertainment and insight from this forum, so it was easy to do.
