Chances are you will have to buy a new set if they are fiberglass. I'm on my third set.

Yo Durim use a hair dryer and some dental floss or a fishing line. It should work just like it does when shaving the emblems off the trunk.

If it's a fiberglass eyelid, then good luck. Poly ones come off with a heat gun just fine on the lowest setting.

You can try to get fishing line and lightly warm up where the eyelid meets the headlight, then use the line to break the seal.

anythings possible but, those things are so fragile, they snap edges of em when washing your car if your not careful... even if you get that tape softed with the heat its gonna be alot of fun... i would order another set and then try so you dont get dissapointed.

My eyelids are probably harder than those. Mine curve over the headlight, yours just stick onto the front but whatever. Happy the OP got em off.

I don't mean to 'thread-jack' but at the same time, I didn't want to start a completely new thread, but ever since LCT stopped selling the eyelids, what would be the best eyelids to get for a 5.5 gen?
If it helps, my max is Majestic Blue and will probably end up paying to paint it.

'Maxy91', would you say the ones from custommaxima are worth it?
