Good morning gentlemen (its 2AM where I am)

Before I get started, let me say, I've tried searching, but due to where I am I can't load half of the pages on the forum due to it being blocked. (I am in Afghanistan on deployment). I am trying to get everything I need already waiting for me when I get back early next year.

I have bought a set of ebay projectors from a org member and I want to do the projector/retrofit but I haven't the slightest clue what projectors I need to buy, what bulbs, or what any of the terminology is. Can anyone point in the right direction with what projectors work best for the retrofit and what bulbs I would need.

If you already have the ebay projectors then these kits have everything else that you need.

 

do i need to change out the projectors? from what i've actually been able to read, the projectors they come with suck and needed to be swapped out with different ones, or am I off on that

E55's or TSX's would be nice to swap in there. If you do go ahead with the swap I'll buy the old projectors off you.

 

prolly gonna try to not swap at first, see how it looks, and if i don't like it i'll swap

 

What would you do with those pos projectors yoo

 

Use them as high beams for my retro. Right now I only have low beams. If he doesn't sell em to me I'll pick up some cheap little H3 projectors.

 

gonna be about 3 months before i get home to even make my decision lol

Just retro your fogs too but with bi xenon projectiors

 

I wonder if anyone has tried the TRS FX-R projectors in the ebay lights. I use those projectors in the retro I did on my wife's SE-R, and I love them (especially with the 55w kit).
