02 Sensor code?? Confused
So i went to autozone since my check engine light came on and the codes are p0139 and p1147. Im guessing this is bank 1 sensor 2 correct? On the sticky thread in the picture it shows it on the right side, but isnt bank 1 on the left side??? Also is the bosh 15224 the right part number? Are these fairly easy to get to?

For a 2002 max both P0139 & P1147 are both for O2 sensor #2 located before the cat converter. Sorry but I don't know the part number but no one seems to have a problem getting replacements.
you should be able to get them at most auto stores.

Left and right sides of an engine (or the entire car for that matter) are based on you sitting inside of a car that is built as a rear wheel drive car. The front of the engine has the crank shaft pulley, while the rear of the engine has the flywheel and the starter. In the Maximas with front wheel drive, the crankshaft pulley is pointing at the left wheel and the left side of the engine (bank) is towards the rear.
I don't think that the auto manufacturers ever agreed that bank 1 means right or left side
The sticky shows that codes P0139 & P1147 come from the right side O2 sensor, closest to the firewall. This sensor is color coded blue by Nissan. Bosch sensor 15225 is for the right side and is conveniently color coded blue.

left side = Bosch 15224, color code red.
right side = Bosch 15225, color code blue.
P0139 & P1147 relate to the right side

Read and heed the sticky, NOT the parts guy...
