SHOULD I BELIEVE THIS ???

I called my nissan service center to get my wheel pull looked at and this is what they told me.

"Most roads are either crown to the left or to the right and a little drift is normal".
I read eariler threads about pulling and it seems to happen only with the 2k2 max. Has anyone experienced this problem with eariler max's or any other car so I can go and put my foot up someone at nissan's a$%.

I think I might agree with your mechanic...I always have drift towards the right b/c of the road crowning...

I have heard the same thing before. On the mainland it seems roads do tend to have a crown, but the pull shouldn't be dramatic!

it should be a "drift" not a "pull"

depending on the road, it should be nice and slow taking place over 100 yards or more...

(note: this is based on my experience)

if it doesn't happen in flat parking lots, then you are okay...

If you are convinced you have a problem, you would probably have uneven ware on your tires, check them.

also, you could offer to take the mechanic for a ride to let him know what you mean...

most cars will drift cause of the corwning..... mine would drift left... well actually it would pull left. I bought new winter tires and my car now drift right slowly. I thought it was a problem until i hit a road which you could tell was pretty straight. It never budged from it forward motion just kept along straight as hell

yep, I'm a civil engineer and I have designed a few roads. Most do have a crown of a few degrees. Its for drainage.

In a ASE textbook I have it says a right drift is OK after an alighment. I assume that they are talking about the right lane but it doesnt say.

I have test driven a few 2002 Max SE's and the suspension is so tight ( I am used to my 2000 GXE) and it transmits so much of the road to the chasis that they kinda felt out of alignment to me .
