Yes

#5 and #7 are completely different, and there's a Y-Pipe in between them, I have no idea what's going on there, maybe it's a 'discount' if you buy both?

The 'typical faulty one' if you can call it that, would be either or both the precats. Which one?? If you are smelling rotten eggs, you should be throwing a code, which will tell you which Cat it is. What code do you have?

Before you spend any money on ANY cat, here's quick lesson:

Rotten eggs tell you that your Cat(s) are working TOO hard. This normally means you have an engine control issue, either an O2 sensor, MAFS, Spark plugs, Injector, coil pack, etc.

There's likely too much fuel getting dumped in, causing excessive Emmisions, causing the Cat to work like crazy trying to lessen emmisions, a cat that is working too hard smells like rotten eggs.

Chances are, the cat is toast already, but it MAY be save-able. Either way, you NEED to fix the problem that is causing the bad cat first, NOT the other way around, or you'll waste your money, and end up needing at least 1-3 more Cat's anyways.

...........
great to know makes alot of sense thanks, I have a big tune up happening in 3 days, hopefully that will take care or enlighten any problems that would be causing the smelly cat.

I may be throwing codes but last time I checked I only had 1 code "small evap leak". So to answer your question probably no codes as of now.
