opinions and thoughts on and intake setup

What im wondering is regarding the midpipe. (not my car)

What im wondering is in regards to throttle response. The pipe between the MAF and Throttle.
I was curious about a 3" vs a 2.75" . We all know the ID of the MAF is 2.75. But i was wondering if there any pros or cons of using a midpipe that had a 3"ID vs 2.75.
Again this is just something i was curious on and im not looking for ..."it wont make power". I know that, but would it give better or worse throttle response, ect.

Isn't the inside diameter of the TB also 70mm, just like the ID of the MAF housing? I'm no physicist, but I'm thinking if you introduce a larger diameter chamber between those two points, you'd mess up the efficiency of the airflow.

But I'm curious to see what better educated opinions than mine have to say.

Bright blue wire loom over black rubber hoses? Um, OK.

no midpipe. So you have the MAF right against the TB. Also John, I think the opening of the TB is 70mm but the inside i think is smaller like 66 or 65

Well... if you're looking for the *feel* of a quicker throttle response, there is something out there that rhymes with "rooster". Hate to bring that up in your thread, because it will get crushed by haters who've never used one... but it does address your objectives.
