Help! New Engine will Not Start

Well I just got some bad news, the motor I had put in my car will not start. Its turning over and firing, but wont hit. This is the engine that has sat in a warehouse for over 7 years but only has 10k on it. Does anyone have any ideas on what to check to make it start?

Fuel, air, spark...... if all of those are there, then start checking sensors

Check for codes. Could have a random dead CKPS, which would prevent starting.

Also, check the injectors. Possibly they gummed over from sitting?

Before you do anything else, check to make sure the crank position sensor is both setup, and working properly.
