Off the top of my head..auto tranny, torque converter, maybe auto brake pedal, auto transmission control module(tcm), shifter... Those are somethings to get you started, but I don't know a complete list of what you would need. Good luck.

My parts list would be to sell the 6 speed car and get an automatic, or maybe work out a trade with someone here. Seriously, it would be a lot less work.

Even better idea, just teach everyone who's going to be driving the car how to drive stick.

Seriously, that will be 100 times easier than going through all the work, costs, and headaches of swapping the transmission.

Actually yeah, forget my suggestion. Go with this idea. I don't want to rain on your parade and block you from bettering your transmission situation.

Really?

As others have said, it would be easier to just sell your car, and find an automatic. Or better yet, list your car here to trade with someone if you really need an auto. If you were closer, I would gladly make that trade.

I can't believe I am reading this.... do you know how much work it will be to swap a trany??? You gonna have this thing I a garage for at least a week or two and then when you are ready to test drive it will be some little part that you need that will take you another week or two to find??? Plus the amount of money you gonna put in to this project ... Just sell the car and find one that is auto

Ohh I almost forget howyou gonna test drive the trasmission to see if it is slipping???

Agreed ^^. Never mind the hassle of selling and buying a new one, you would be grateful if you knew how much you would save your wallet. It just wouldn't be worth it. It will run you a few grand where if you sell yours you can the out right buy another or put a little more money down and get a nicer one.

Off the top of my head....

Auto tranny
Auto tranny mount
Auto engine harness complete
Auto main ecu
Auto tranny computer
Auto shifter cables
Auto shifter assembly
Torque converter
Auto flywheel
Auto flywheel bolts
Auto starter
Auto axles
You can most likely get away with the 6 speed brake pedal

Not to mention all the random little bolts, nuts, clips, etc. that you might need. If you really wanna go through with this, find a wrecked 02-03 and start swapping. I would love to see this happen just for the technical aspect. But like others have said, this is not a good idea as far as practicality goes. There are plenty of people on the org that would love a 6 speed, find someone to trade with.
