They Got me Again

This is da 2nd time in a matter of about 7 months that someone ripped off ma rear window spoiler. I had posted the first incident back then now it happened again.... the first one i had was from paradox-systems which is now discontinued and the last one is from ionic dynamics. I live in tha Brooklyn New York area. This maybe a stupid ???? But can these be slightly drilled on around dat frame section of the window besides having adhesive?? And have neone had issues with someone stealing it from your car before??? Thieves must love fiberglass i assume...

look into a product called SIKAFLEX. That is what my body shop used to bond my rear window spoiler and it never came off and was never stolen. I believe the product is SIKAFLEX 221. You can talk to a body shop about if they have access to 3M Epoxies as well, tell them you want the part BONDED to the car and they can take care of it for you at a small charge. These are industrial epoxy adhesives designed to withstand 200+ psi of force.

all props to packetattack over at Nycmaximas for this info

Keep in mind that someone wanted to take the spoiler. I'm afraid bonding it to the car will give you more problems in the end. Like, a broken spoiler bonded to your car. The thieves don't care if they break it, they'll just move on to the next one.
Is there a way you can buy mount a small security camera outside? It seems extreme, but it sounds like you live in an extreme area. Some of the decent single camera recordable systems can be had for about $100 or so. Might be a good investment for your car and it will cover everything. Can't stop the thieves, but you might be able to catch them.

Maybe it's time to give up the window spoilers. If it happened twice, it can happen a third time.

Sounds like it's time to protect that investment. Spending a little more is better than being stubborn. You have less problems that way.
