Lastnight on my way to the mall to pick up a few gifts I came upon a Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder GT. I'm stopped at the light minding own my business when this clown started to rev and smile. Remembering once an Eclipse gave one of my cousins a had time while driving his 1990 Porsche 944 S2 I was not up to the run. But when the light changed and he gassed it I say @#$k it and gassed it to. By the time I was at 40mph we where nose to nose, at 60mph one car lenght, 75mph two cars and by 85-90mph his silver car looked really little and cute in my rear view .


Just a little reminder to all, max's are not the fastest thing on the road but don't @#$k with us.

Stock 01-02 eclipse = 200hp
Stock '90' 944 s2= 205-208hp

I never said he won I said he gave my cousin a hard time. In the end the 944 smoked him.

 

Right on! I can't wait to actually have someone race me, win or lose. I pulled up on an apparent modded prelude (wheels, paint, exhaust, too many &$#m stickers) about two weeks ago and indicated my interest in a run...he turned on a side street.

Oh well, I will probably get my @ss handed to me soon.

im very confident about my maxima. i have raced alot and beaten most. right now at the street races i win most. i ve raced an rx-7 turbo that beat me by 1 1/2 cars, and an eclipse gsx is even. so the only thing ahead of me are turbos. there are 2 maxes out there and they wont race me! oh well its all for fun anyway.

 

Are you auto or 5 speed?

 

You should move to Calgary and take on all the SUV's you can handle.

 

 

What I mean is, you hardly ever get your @ss handed to you.

I don't even bother with the Honda boys anymore. Waste of gas. Others are a different story
