hey guys im back -__- i missed maximasss n i need help

i wanted your guys opinion i found a great deal on a 2003 max automatic midnight blue with leather interior but i want it 6 speed is that a costly swap is there any write ups iv looked around but didnt find much im only paying 3300. for the car let me know wat you guys think

You're better off saving and finding one in 6speed. Calc cost of transmission and labor alone will put your total over 5-6k, not calculating anything else.

I agree, if you really want a 6 speed, hold off until you find one. I wish I had. No problems with the automatic but the gear spacing isn't very performance oriented. 3rd gear is really long.

too bad you can't get a TCI or other TCU unit, to control the lockup, or get something like a FWD version of the Toyota AA80E in the Lexus ISF 0.1 second shifts, lockup in 2-8, etc.
or a dual clutch from an evo or getting a company like this one to make it into a 6 speed:

Personally, I say get the automatic. Otherwise, hold out for the 6 speed, but make sure to always keep a case of oil in the trunk
