acceleration run.
Just installed the new transmission and it is shifting great
I did get the vb upgrade and it shifts a bit firmer during hard accel.
transgo hd1 I believe. Not the race application
you can actually feel the tires chirp 1-2.
well to the video:

Wow. Nice shifts. My tranny is getting a bit spongy, but with my new solenoid pack and DR mod, my shifts are similar to this (but no 1-2 chirp)... as long as I remember to flip my DR switch...
Hey perk, how did you get your auto to shift at exactly 6500rpm? Mine did for a bit , but ever since my last idle air relearn it shifts at ~6300

So to do this, all you AT guys have to do is keep the accelerator pedal smashed to the floor? Is that about right?
Gee, I don't know if I could do that. It must take some serious practice.

This is exactly why I swapped my auto out. This was too hard for me to master so I quickly swapped the auto out for the manual.

Seriously though for the 150 shot you'd just need a fuel pump, 2 step colder plugs, a little more safety equipment (way to monitor fuel pressure and A/F, preferably with nitrous kill switches for both), a way to pull timing, and spot on A/F.
If you're going to spray a 75 shot on stock timing (especially with a 2 degree base advance), I'd recommend using some 100 or 104 and avoid spraying on hot days when you're more likely to detonate. I noticed elsewhere that you were going to get a TS reflash to go with the nitrous... that's even more timing advance in most cases. Interesting choice. Just be careful... lol

Hey! We have to flip our DR switches AND gate shift AND brake torque launch. That's pretty much the same amount as what you 6MT guys have to do

But thankfully zip ties and/or duct tape can always save the day.

Amateurs don't use nitrous oxide. I've seen the way you drive. You've got a heavy foot. You'll blow yourself to pieces.

Shifting fast with the clunky *** cable shifter 6MT in our cars is a freakin' art form. I'd spend an eternity trying to count how many shifts I've missed over the last couple of years practicing. Then, when you finally get good at it, this happens because you're putting so much force into getting the POS into gear:
