So I was having lunch yesterday and parked next to a 5th gen 3.o TE max that had a nice looking lip kit.

The question is- has anyone purchased this? If so, how is the quality and fit?

 

thats a helluvafind on that lip kit. the one you probably saw was a stillen kit...runs over $500 for the full kit.

i purchased my stillen front lip, i have yet to test fit it yet though.

 

the fact that it says the front lip will fit 2000-2003 is enough to make me not buy it but i don't own a 5 or 5.5 gen so....

 

even if it doesnt 'fit' a 5.5...thats the 'knock off version' of the maxx tuning lip for the 5.5s...a little bit of modding and the 5.5 drivers will have what they desire. i dont see anything wrong with it. i know of some people that get the ebay lip...so it cant be any worse

 

It wasn't the Stillen it was just like the one in the link.

I may be the guinea pig and purchase this in the upcoming month- or if one of you fine folks buy it before me- let us know how it fits!

Stillen...whats in your link is a replica of stillen...if whats in your link is what you saw...then its either stillen or a replica

 

people have bout that front lip off ebay before... Will not fit 00-03 as the front bumpers are different. The rear should work regardless unless its just junk

 

itll fit the 5.5....a little bit of cutting and its better than the 02-03 stillen lip thats available...IMO

 

Someone on here already did that...retrofitted this lip to their 5.5 after they mistakenly ordered it. It actually turned out pretty nicely.

It's all the rage now. Buy a TE and swap a DE-K into it.

 

Dayum thats hella cheap! $240 for fronts AND rears? Man, I wish our aftermarket was crackin like that.....

 

It had a small a small burger- I assumed wrong. Must've been higher than i thought- mea culpa

 

don't buy this kit.....i bought the front lip for my 01(from K2motors) and it fit like absolute dog poop.....its cheap and wouldn't recommend it to any one.....i recently bought a Stillen front for my 03 and the quality is night and day....spend the extra money and GET Stillen you'll save lots of aggravation....just talking from experience
