Paint Scracthes

I've searched around but didnt really get any precise answers. Because of the Snow we had here in New York City ma car was buried in for a few days. After shoveling out and stuff I noticed a few scratches on ma car which Im really upset about.

My question is does that paint/clear coat Pen from courtesy parts really work? its not major scratch but i can notice it. And its on the Driver side front bumper below ma headlights. Just intersted about this Paint Pen

Should. Depending on the car's color.

Pearl white is nearly impossible to get perfect. Other colors are a little easier.

They do work, if you really take your time keep it clean while applying let it completely dry very gentle wet sand in between coats of the clear coat, but it really is an art to get it right and tons of patience ... other wise it will look like sh$t

I got the pen for my silver paint. Far from a perfect colour match, but beats leaving exposed metal to the elements.

Yeah and remember that the pens have NEW paint in them, unlike on most of our cars that the color of the paint has faded. So they wont match up anyway.

well i had alot of scratches too from the shoveling.. i went to nissan and got the merlot color pen with the option of paint or pen for a lil less than 15 dollars .. used it on some of the long scratches and it worked well but i guess since i painted over top of it i notice it lol but when you are not close to the car it blends in really good.. looks natural .. but imma get mine repainted in the summer .. but since yu are in new york i would get a new paint job until spring/summer time because it is still snowing .... and i used the end of a match to get the scratches because the brush was to thick and pen to thin .. hope this helped.
