Where to get bright LED Tail Light Bulbs?

I've tried a few places and it seems to give out easy.
Any recommended spots?
Both 7443 & 7440's

I had some putco led bulbs they were real nice.they had built in blinker that would blink 2-3 times before staying on solid.i got them from amazon for about $40 check putco website for the model number and yes they were extremly bright.i also had the reverse, turn and plate bulbs.and i didnt get the warning light on the dash like i did when i had the nokyo led bulbs installed.

Did you need resistors for the brake lights?

Not at all.i think the nokyo ones i did have before needed them.one thing to note when i put them in my door lights they would glow really dim when the car was off.it did not hurt anything and it did not drain the battery.

I got mine from superbrightleds.com. I don't know if you currently have LEDs in there now but my car doesn't recognize them. They work perfectly, but I always have the indicator on my dashboard telling me the bulbs are out. A load resistor kit is supposed to solve this, but I haven't had a chance to actually buy it.

If pure and simple brightness is your only concern here you go bar none the brightest 7443 available today:

http://www.v-leds.com/Exterior-LED/B...-p9422807.html

Also you will not find LEDs in the 7440 as the 7443 works in the 7440 application so bulb makers just make the 7443 across the board.

Any of VLED's LEDs that won't hyperblink if I put a set in my front blinkers? I'm planning on clearing my lenses soon, and I'd like to swap in some LEDs to keep it looking decent.

All LEDS will require a load resistor OR flasher module swap (one designed for the lighter resistance of LED bulbs) to prevent hyper blinking.

I know most do. But I could've sworn someone somewhere had some that didn't need the resistor. I could be wrong, though.

I recommend autolumination - I also got my 6 ohm loaders there and to this day all the products still are functioning - Been over 4 years -

The only issue I have run into is D/D lights come on my dash when I apply the brakes - Indicating that there isnt the required output for the rear lights (LED's run less wattage and I just assume thats what that indicator means when I apply the brakes and the indicator comes on) So be aware when you do run LED and the 6 ohm loaders that you may get this indicator in your dash

Autolumintaion should be in business with Custommaxima. They were both equally terrible experiences IMHO.

I've never had a problem with autoluminations before. And I've bought things from them multiple times before and all my products came in a timely manner.

I cleared my HIDs and use the chrome bulb that blinks amber. I didn't use the clear plastic that others have though. I just removed the amber piece leaving the bulb exposed. Just giving you another option if you don't want to mess with LEDs and resistors.

LINK

Not the best pic in the world.

Just like most online retailers the proof is when something does go wrong. Trust me when they do; autolumination is not the company you want to be caught dealing with. Otherwise they're great.

If you want to stop hyper-flash Load resistors suck as they are a permanent alteration to the car which of coarse could be a problem when you want to go back to stock to sell the car. Plus load resistor are a safety hazard if you are not careful because they produce muc-co heat so especially when placing them in the trunk watch out for the carpet.

The Flasher unit is easily reversible, allows you to take advantage of the low power draw of LEDs and are simply safer because they produce no heat. With that much being said most LED flasher units are crappy universal replacements that have to be glued or taped into place and are not very durable.

However their is one LED Electronic Flasher unit that is designed to be a factory replacement. Here is a link for it: http://cgi.ebay.com/Electronic-LED-I...item5ad7970ae6

The flasher unit is on the driver side behind the dash shell right above the clutch pedal or just above and to the right of the dead pedal. all you have to do when you remove the lower shell on the driver side is turn on the hazard lights and you will hear the clicks coming from it. The factory replacement will click in the stock mount point so you will not have to be worried about securing it.

V-leds.com I have the converted orange blinker mod to the red 48 LED tower. it blinks deep red and not pink. get the resistors to control the hyper blink. I also have the converted orange tower LED blinkers up front. lights up just like any high end led blinkers.
