Tech writeup on Mechanical vs Viscous LSD Systems

This is a very interesting writeup for those who want to know a bit more about differentials and how they work. The article explains a lot about AWD systems, and the genesis of limited slip - from the viscous type to the mechanical, or torque-sending type. The HLSD system in the 2002 Maxima is a mechanical type.

Yeah. I was checking out www.audiworld.com (awesome site by the way) and I did a search on "differential". Came up with that article.
