2 questions before i make this purchase

As my max was stolen last week i have been looking and found a private seller with a fair deal.here are the 2 things that i have been trying to find before i make this buy.first the gentleman never used floor mats on the drivers side he was concerned it would hang up the gas pedal so the carpet has a large hole in it i can see the foam under it.i have been searching for carpet but unable to find it aftermarket for a 03 has anyone ever replaced their carpet with a aftermarket product and if you did could you point me in the direction of the site where you purchased it.second problem is the power seat up and down function does not work i can hear the motor running but dont know if this is a easy fix so if someone has fixed this issue let me know as i have found post in reguards for the foward and back function and found a GD for the gears for that issue but nothing on the up and down movement of the seat.i might pick this car up on sat its a 03 in QX1 with frost inside and 92k on the clock and he wants $4400 he is orig owner and clear carfax.

Go to an autozone or pepboys to buy mats. I find rubber mats better than the factory carpet.

Just buy a set of the factory plush mats from Nissan. About $80 and worth it, a perfect fit and quite thick.

Oh, god. He was another one of those special toyota drivers, huh? LOL
Last report I read found only 1 vehicle actually had unintended acceleration. All others were caused be idiot operators.

+1 on OEM floor mats. They're pretty decent.

Here is a post that is about a seat that doesn't go back and forth. I don't know if this is one you looked at. But in post # 22, another guy has a grinding noise and he posts pictures. I think that the mechanism is probably similiar for all the different adjustments.
