Anything more than a few ounces though, I'd get the car towed and the oil changed before starting it again.
Water injection into the intake has nothing to do with water in the crankcase, they are a completely different thing, a little unsure what this has to do with this thread?
Everything else you said gets a nod of agreement though.

OP, you're pretty freaking brave with this thread. Funny, too.
On brave thread, he actually hasn't been beaten up much I guess the crueler of the .Orgers are resting their boxing gloves today

Roch, I know you didn't have that link bookmarked for easy access did you??

Not driven at all, its in garage for the oil change. Can you explain 5. Seafom?
Sea Foam Motor Treatment is a highly effective and completely safe additive that improves the performance of your engine as it:
  • Cleans entire fuel system, including carburetor jet or fuel injectors
  • Cleans carbon from the combustion chambers and pistons
  • Stabilizes fuels for up to 2 years
  • Lubricates the upper cylinders
  • Controls moisture in fuel
  • De-ices frozen fuel lines
  • Frees sticky lifters
  • Frees sticky rings
  • Controls moisture in oil
  • Cleans P.C.V. components
All fuels leave varnish deposits, which over time build up, collecting carbon from exhaust and impairing the efficiency and effectiveness of your fuel system and combustion chamber components (pistons, valves, spark plugs.) Sea Foam Motor Treatment was originally designed to remove this varnish build-up, and nothing does it better or safer than Sea Foam.
Sea Foam Motor Treatment can also be added to your oil to re-liquify oil varnish deposits and free sticky valve train components, enhancing the effectiveness of the lubrication system and adding to the longevity of critical engine components.

The current crop of active 5th gen members is pretty mellow. Most of the hardcore hates have moved on to the OT and other cars... which is fine by me. I much prefer help & humor, in no particular sequence.

OT? Yeah I've got to agree man, very happy to see the .ORG has calmed down a bit, it was getting to be a bloodbath for a while there.

Just pointing out getting a little water into the engine (crankcase or combustion chamber) usually doesn't cause problems. Suck a bunch of water in or pour a bunch in and you will have huge problems.

Yeah shiz happens, the dude eff'ed up and got a nasty cocktail of engine oil and washer fluid. I've seen several cars get towed into the dealer where I work cause the owners filled their gasoline tanks with diesel... Now, diesel nozzle's are larger in diameter than gas ones to prevent this from occuring on modern cars. Yet somehow, someway they ignore the pump marked DIESEL which is usually orange or green, is completely seperate from the gas side of the pump or has it's own standalone pump, have oily handles also orange in green in color since and it smells completely different. Yet somehow, someway their brains don't compute this information while jamming the oversize nozzle into their gas tanks and pump away...

i used to love watching people do this when i was workin at a gas station. id refure to turn on the pump. i'd get "i know how to put gas in my car now turn on the ******* pump, kid!"

haha you got it b!tch. pump away!!

2 mins later, other side of the parking lot: "can you call a tow truck, your gas broke my car"

me: "nope, but you have fun buying a new fuel system after you find your own wrecker"

i remember on another forum, some guys buddy that had a Honda told him to pour sand in his engine to polish it, dude did it and wrecked his engine

or the guy with the Mustang who used a hose to clean out his engine with water and couldnt figure out why it seized, or the guy who accidentally put brake fluid in the engine of his Camaro

These must have been very old cars. It isn't physically possible to put a diesel nozzle in a gasoline car made in the last couple decades. You would seriousle need tools to accomplish this feat.

guy on a local forum did it a couple weeks ago apparently diesel nozzles are bigger than gas ones to prevent this but he managed to do it still and it was a early 00's model

Yup all the cars I've seen come in have been late-model's, but still somehow they get the tip in past the tight hole and fill-er-up!
