I hate to bump old threads but I did reference this thread prior to putting on my Moog Endlinks this weekend.

I did Grade 8 washers on each side of the control arm hole thanks to this thread.

Something not mentioned above... I also used Red High Strength Threadlocker.

I highly recomend using Blue or if your paranoid like me Red Threadlocker on these bolts.

Anyway it cured my front end clunk!

How is that extreme?

It a few drops of threadlocker.

Others have complained about nuts backing off.

A butane torch for a few seconds will neutralize the thread locker when it comes time to remove. Doesn't seem very extreme to me.
