Vq35 parts

So, unfortunately the other week my buddy was cut off the road by a Drunk Driver and veered into a pole. No one was hurt, but his 2003 350z is essentially totaled. I have already acquired his ignition coils, but I was wondering if anyone knew of any other parts for the VQ that are interchangeable between the Z and the Max.. He has a plenum spacer on there and was hoping, it is somewhat resemblant to ours. Thanks

Just take everything. IM, TB, thermostat, etc. If it's not welded on, take it.

Then sell the parts or do a project with them if they're compatible.

Isn't the 350z clutch an upgrade from the Max? And the injectors, if you're tuned? I don't really know, but that seems familiar. Research it.

Oh, and yank his dead-pedal, then cut off the top 1/2" and use it in your Max. That's a pretty common dead-pedal mod.

You've got a good friend, either way.

Me neither but I'd still snap that up.

If it were me, I would be taking the heads to use as spares, IM to retrofit and sell on the forums as a "ready to be installed" Z IM for a maxima, and various sensors/injectors that can be reused. Probably the ECU too...

I agree, grab everything. If you can't use it, you can probably sell it.

You don't need to match the dead-pedal, but if you really want to you could buy the pedal pads separately. The pads slip right on as direct replacements. I've done it. It's a two minute mod.

Just take the entire fuel rail. Or do what sparks said.
