trans???

Hey guys!
What controls the downshifting in the 2000 maximas?? I know most autos had a kickdown or detent cable used to determine down shifts, but the. Maxs trans are a lot different than the ones I'm used to
If I'm rolling out of a parking lot slowly and press the gas to half throttle I get a delay and then a huge downshift. It doesn't seem right.... Is it controlled by the trans solenoid ???

I'd say either solenoids or TCM.

I control the downshifting in my car.

6 spd FTW!!!

In regards to your actual question, jowo is correct. AT-29 of the FSM shows Output Signals from the TCM to the solenoid valves for differing conditions.
