Demographics of Maxima drivers?

Has anyone seen any demographics on Maxima drivers? Such as age, gender, income, etc. I'm just curious. The only thing I could find off the web was on the MSN web site, these are the stats they had for 2001 maxima buyers:

avg. age: 48
married: 85% (seems kinda high to me)
income: $66,000

Married: yep, been together 15 years.
Children: one - 11 months old, and the MAIN reason I bought my Max (big back seats make it easy to get car seats out!)

Income: Well, let's just say I teach High School and leave it at that.

48???
I think most guys (and gals) on this board are younger than that!
Everyone that I know who has a Max (with the exception of my
next door neigbor) is in their 20's or early-mid 30's.

Right, but this board is hardly an accurate sampling. There are less than 10,000 members of this board and, for example, 10,000 Anniversary Edition Maximas were produced last year...a mere pitance of total Maximas sold. This board, I would guess, represents the reason why that average age isn't 60.

Plus, a great majority of this board's members don't own their own Maximas (parents) so their ages don't count in the MSN average.

Well I own mine and it's paid off. Loved the guys face when a 19 year old cut him a check for it. Then the bastard basically interrogated me for like an hour.

Edit: I forgot, I was 18 when I got the car.

This board is atypical. I fit the demographic right on. Age 46 married two kids, better than average income. If our income was $20000/yr more we'd probably be in a BMW or an Audi.

What's great is that the younger more agressive segment on this board gets old farts like me putting mods in. Sort of like a hair transplant for my car psyche

Cheers

I previously owned a Mustang GT for many years, but when my third child was born, I could not get 3 kids in the back seat. But hey, give me credit for holding onto my Mustang as long as I did. Most of my married friends sold their sports cars as soon as their first child was born. The Max was a way to satisfy my desire for a fast car and still be able to haul a family.

Maxima: the sensible alternative to a BMW (in 5 years the oldest kid heads off to college - you do the math).
