Rally Stripes?

Has Anyone ever done it on a 5 or 5.5 gen? I was saving for it now, green with black stripes. My mechanic charged me 1750. I'm currently sterling mist. Any Op's

I've seen pics of double-stripes that curve over the front hood-to-fender... it's somewhat mopar-ish, and kind of interesting in an asymmetrical sort of way. There's probably a proper name for that kind of graphic. IDK what it is.

But IMO, not on the Maxima, and not on a 4-door.

I know a guy who had a 2006 ss impala with rally stripes. I'm talking about two thick stripes I guess I would have to go out on a limb but I strive to be different...and a bit strange

I wish I was any good at photoshop.

On a Dodge Viper? Yes.

On a Chevy Cobalt SS? Perhaps.

On a Lancer Evo/STi? Absolutely not.

Has there ever even been a non-domestic vehicle where rally stripes actually worked on it? There's none that I can think of.

stripes are not meant for tuners they are strictly a muscle car thing

Unless it is SS stripes on a Chevelle or Camaro, pass. Personally, I think our cars look best as low key as possible.

THIS. Drop it, put some decent rims on it, change what else you see fit. Go crazy under the hood. Modding a Maxima is about keeping it subtle.

Doing things like putting racing stripes on or installing a twin-loop muffler will make you look like an idiot.

You guys are forgetting that in the Honda world, racing stripes are good for 75 hp. Nissans are basically hondas. It's like adding a supercharger!

OP... Go crazy with it, green and black stripes on a silver car. Yeah... Please do it!!!!!

Love the slightly lowered, slightly wider than stock tire, tint and debadge sleeper look. Did that with my Chevelle but the cam lope would give it away-at least to those who knew cam lope was not bad spark plugs.

I can't think of a single sedan that would look good with "racing stripes". I believe Rochester summed it up best with I put stripes on my dad's car. Too funny. In fact this whole thread is too funny.
