Center console lights won't work

Hello,

The lights on the left part of the climate control module stopped working (see circled in red below - front/rear defrost, Auto, Econ, Off, Temp control ****, and air recirculation).

Has anyone ever had this problem and fixed it? If yes, how?

Thanks!

If you're talking about the Illumination portion, there are 3 small bulbs in the ACC unit.

You have to remove the unit, pull it apart and then replacement is simple.

Nissan should have the bulbs you need for a reasonable price, if not, you can try taking one into RadioShack.

Ill post a couple pics for you in a bit.

Yes, these are the one I'm talking about. The lights that are supposed to come one at night when the headlights are turned on so you can see the buttons.

If it's 3 bulbs in the ACC unit, then I'll need to know how to remove it.

Here you go:

you'll See the 4 little screws (you can see one at least in this pic), remove them, then gently pull the faceplate off the back.

Really?

Invest in one of these:

pepboys, autozone, whatever.

one Phillips (star) screw in ashtray, then Use the tool to pry around the shifter, remove shifter trim (you can just slide it out of the way),

Then pry top vent off, remove.

two 10mm head bolts on top, two on bottom, pull assembly out, 3 or 4 Phillips screws into the side of the ACC on each side, slide ACC out and unplug. Then follow photos.

Most people would have said SEARCH.

Next time I may be one of them

4mm Neo Wedge don't bother to get them in LED eith as serious hotspotting will be the result. You are better off getting them OEM for $3.00 a pop shipped from http://www.mccarthynissan.com/order-parts/ the part number for them is: 275451W600
