02/03 Replacement Headlight lens??

Some of you know, I was shipped a set of 5.5 lights that had a crack in them unexepectedly, in the Left lens.

I've been trying to source a replacement lens to see if UPS/seller can cover the cost of the lens, I'll just replace it. I want OEM quality of course.

I can't find anything though... anyone able to offer any advice or help?

TIA

check ebay often. i bought a used damaged headlight for $100, lense was perfect. I got sick of looking and I had no choice but to break down and spend a little extra for it.

Good luck to you.

I have not seen anyone that sells just the lens, you would think they would be available but no ... same issue with the darn glass lens on the 02-03 fog lamps there just doesn't seem to be any companies that sell the lens only.

You can try making your own lenses

I made a set for my custom projector fogs, comes out pretty nice

^ That's crazy I would NEVER have thought of that.

Thanks for confirmation that these can't be purchased apart from the housing, saved me more searching.

I won't be doing anything crazy about this, the seller/UPS damaged the lens, they can fix it as far as I'm concerned. Otherwise they can have the dam lights back lol.

Thanks again guys.

If you find out the lenses from aftermarket (not the $hitty projectors) DEPO and other OEM style headlights can be removed and fitted, I'm sure you can try and contact the company through their parts sourcing.

^That's actually a good idea, but how the heck would you ever find out if they are the same...? I know most Ebay lights are the same size as the 5th gen (at least in height), so those wouldn't work.

I just noticed the other headlight housing is broken, around the HID access cap (not a sealed unit now).

This purchase is becoming a big mistake so far. I should have bought those dam lights at the wreckers and sent these back. Now my buddy bought them so I'm stuck. Maybe I'll just retro the AE's.
