They were pretty advanced when they came out... I just cant stand the fact that our clusters are so basic. We should have more then just a display of the the miles and the trip. I wish they took the BMW route where there was the view of the car where it told you which door was open, avg mpg, avg speed, and what tire was slipping (on models with tcs). Some of these were fixed in the 02s and up but i cant complain its just a Japanese 4 door sedan..

That's one of the commerials that made me buy my 2000 GLE and then of course the 2003 SE......those flashed hi beams and fogs always got my attention in the commerials, hate to say it but that was the last awesome Maxima......JN........no mo!

I agreed with how he described the interior. Every control and **** on the dash, in my opinion, were designed and arranged perfectly. While driving I find myself punching controls and turning ***** without even thinking.

After 131k, indeed I love my car a lil more as well after watching the video.

I had a 2-3 page fold out ad from a car and driver of the 2000 SE on my wall as a youngin' around this time. Watching the promo vid takes me back haha.

The sunset one is my favorite but the best Max one to me is the 4th gen with the pigeons trying to $41t all over it after a car wash...
