Brake Fluid Reservoir Screen
is this screen designed to be removed easily ? I installed brakes and needed to remove a little fluid but could not get the screen out easily and I didn't want to force it.

Remove the fluid via a bleeder on your calipers.
You really should replace (flush) your brake fluid when you replace the pads.
Brake fluid is hydroscopic (absorbs moisture) and degrades over time.
The more moisture it absorbs, the more corrosive it will become to your brake components.
It's one of the easiest maintenance items most neglected.
