Lowered 6spd, reverse noise???

I am looking at a sweet ride from a fellow Orger. However when I turn the wheel most of the way and go in reverse, there is a clunking or metal hitting metal sound. This ONLY happens in reverse. Not when going forward. He said he doesn't know what it is. The car apparently has "bc coil overs" and is lowered. Any idea what the problem could be? Also I am in Fair Lawn NJ and would pay someone to come take a look at this to make sure everything is cool. Let me know. Feel free to call me too. Thanks guys

The clunking metal noise when steering the wheel all the way sounds like worn down axles but if its ONLY in reverse then i'm clueless

Get under the car and check if any of the boots are cracked or ripped or oozing the grease out of them.

Sometimes the backing plates will only hit with the wheel maxed out in either direction, in reverse would be different but not impossible.
