Pulled out my ECU and found this...








Is this from a leaking IACV? It has been misfiring for the past year and none of the obvious things have fixed it... However the idle is rock solid.

dustey, your ecu appears rusty,

anyway, that's strange. i thought the ecu's were sealed. in any case, i would think you would encounter more issues than a simple misfire if that was causing problems. just sayin

The ecu sits under the heater core, so that is a possible source of rater. As far as could the rust cause a misfire, maybe. I don't know what circuits are on that corner of the printed circuit board.
