Max burning oil?? 2003

Hey all,
Hoping someone can help!

I have a 03 maxima of course the 3.5L

It seems to be burning oil.
No leaks because I dont see any on the floor. Also no smell of burning oil.
No check engine light so I have no clue what any issue can be...
I used Shell Synthetic oil and before that Pennzoil.

Can anyone help?
Much appreciation!

How much oil are you using?

Typical problem with early VQ35 engines. If you are burning less than a quart per 1000 miles, it is an inconvenience but shouldn't affect engine longevity.

It might be....
I look at it from the book every time so I dont remb from the top of my head.

Actually for BMW they say to just add more than the recommended when they burn oil.
Do you guys think its a good idea??

Yes I ALWAYS check on a flat surface, and the oil is always cold.
Thats not an issue.....
But thanks
