I installed tokico blues on my 97 wo/dustboots. I had about 30k miles on them and i have had no problems without the boots. The only reason i didnt get them because i ran out of money and need to drive my car. Otherwise i probably would of put them on.

Put them on. You're only shortening the life of your struts.
