Front passenger door?

My front passenger door has gradually become harder to close and very stiff (doesn't swing freely). Has anyone else experienced this?

It seems the black pole that retracts into the door needs some kinda grease. I'm not sure that's the problem though. Any help is appreciated.

Sounds like you need to put some White Lithium Grease on the hinge and post. The stuff is mostly waterproof and will last a while. If you've never done it before, its definitely overdue.

That's part of it, it won't close fully I usually have to give it a good strong push or slam. I checked the lock couldn't find anything out whack. Does anyone else's front passenger door respond this way?

I wonder if this is some nissan compensation for passenger usage?

I would just greese that door up. Greese all the others because in the winter the doors can be frozen shut and the greese will prevent that. Happend to my best friend and my girlfriend, he couldn't close his because it wasn't greesed enough, and my girlfriend couldn't open hers. Thats a problem
