Ride is getting bouncy.. Blown Struts??

I had my stock shock/H&R spring combo on for about 4K miles now.. It was great at first but now the car is starting to feel really bouncy. Also, in my front right strut I'm starting to hear funny noises when I make a turn. Is it blown? Well, I placed an order for some Tokicos... Should be better right??

Konis are great but expensive.
i've had my Toks for a while and they're a-ok. i've gone to quite a number of track events too. so it should hold up pretty good.

A lovely strip of I-95 in Northern South Carolina/North Carolina did my struts in. Had an alignment/balancing and asked them to check the shocks. They said the struts and strut plates will soon need to be replaced. Could anyone tell me about strut plates? Never heard reference to them.

If their blown your gonna know it. Basically even on non bumpy roads your gonna bounce up and down uncontrollubly and not really ever stoping.

its a thing that holds the strut....if you hear like squeaky noises and stuff then that's blown and should be replaced. I think they are kinda expensive...not sure

Yeah.. it's bouncy even on little dips.. Bumps are fine though.. I decided to cancel my Tokico order, and get the KYB's from Cattman.. Gonna order the boots/mounts as well..
