BC Coilovers installed
I'm not sure about older c/os either, but u said they ned to be switched, then said this us th e first u heard of it. It seems as tho all the recently purchased c/o have this issue. Read thus thread again.
what is it with you and thus....
btw i've already read this thread and this thread has come up two months after i installed my coilovers. had i read this thread prior to, i would have done it before install. in the threads about the reviews of coilovers this was never mentioned as far as BC went and if it was in another thread either i never read the thread or just over looked that post in that thread. either way, if this thread came before my install, i wouldnt be a statistic

Yup, looks like they are on wrong according to my stocks that I'm comparing them to. I'm not sure bout everybody else, but the bigger angle looks like it's suppose to be on the outside from looking at the stocks.
The ride is great, Have the dampening at 15. I tried the preload thing but not sure if I did it right. Everything is on point though for each side. Going to do the rears this week, had to battle the rain on the weekend.
Yeah I definitely think I want to get a set of these within 6 mos. Still on my OE struts @96K haven't done any mods but it seems logical to make that the first one, I'm sure by then I will need to do the rears and I would rather spend a little extra to get something customizable. I really like the height OP is at, never been a fan of totally dropping a car but that looks just about perfect.
Has anyone put chains on their tires with these or any coilover? Is that even feasible?

Just you guys know, BC Racing confirmed that the camber plates are wrong coming out of the factory, lucky for the future owners of the coilovers, the problem has been fixed. Not that it was a mission to swap them
.
.
Did my swap today and noticed an instant difference. Before they were swapped I felt every bump on the road and the ride was overall horrible, now it's a lot better. By the way I did adjust dampening many times to fit my comfort but now I didn't need to and it feels a lot better plus alignment of course.
Bc camber plates
Hey all. So I got BC 's on my A33 I30. They were installed by my mechanic. After seeing this post I found that my camber plates are at an Angle as well. The FL is on the drivers side and the L camber plate is on drivers side too. The right side matches too. My car was aligned right after install.
Did those of you with this problem ever get it all fixed.
Do the camber slots indeed need to run straight left right?
Can you guys confirm this for me?
Thanks

Bc camber plates
Ha yeah I guess I did. So I emailed bc about this issue. This is their response.
The person doing alignments should have realized this and dialed it in appropriate at thr time or he should have mentioned there was a issue with dialing in. You shouldn't have a issue if the person didn't mention this. There is a faster and easier way than what Kerry pointed out. If you raise the front on jackstands (both sides) you can loosen the upper strut bolts on the tower on both sides. Once the top of the strut is dropped you can remove the camber plate by loosening the 4 Allen key bolts. Swap side and raise the suspension back in the tower with a jack under the strut. It should take about 5-10 min per corner. It will almost take more time to jack the car up on stands. Let us know if you have any questions.
Has anyone tried swapping them like described above?
Shouldnt BC own up to their mistakes and help us customers out with this issue?

ahh shiet! i was thinking of pulling the whole coilover and just swapping sides, but yes this seems smart lol
but they supposedly have fixed this in house and the new ones they are sending out are supposedly corrected.

) i love em
