Wow, you're not kidding.

No, that's the manufacture name: Energy Suspension.

I just walked into Lordco in Victoria BC and they had it sent over from their Vancouver store... probably could have got it for cheaper on-line but I had it in my car the next day this way.
I'd hope that Ontario has as good of a supply as BC (it should do).

ps. My shifts are improved nicely since the switch.

I shift usually to 3rd slowly and it seems to do the job fine, maybe 1 or 2 crunches / day lol....I notice that the 6spd shifter needs you to know and move the exact path it should move ... like you try to walk in a "well-known to you" dark room and avoiding hitting your furniture .... Another point is that when it was really cold here (well below 32f) the shifts really sucked at that time (I'm on Amsoil GL4)...but after it warmed up , its much better now....4th is my concern now , it is like a double-step shift now i dunno why..

i just bought an 02 6spd and mine grinds above 4500rpm which had me worried endlessly.. are there any links you guys have handy to all the shifter bushings and etc? it's my 2nd day w/ the car and i want to get all this sorted out. so just to summarize all this, to help stop the 3rd gear grind/crunch you need to:

1) Get energy suspension shifter bushings - is there a better way to say this/order these?
2) new fluid
3) stiffen up the other motor mounts/trans mounts/ (or will the shifter bushings help that?)

are there any short shifters for the 6spd? will those help at all?

I have the es bushings now, did the free sts mod and swapped in the redline MT-85 and my crunch is almost gone. It might once a week now. I think they all worked together but the most improving was the free sts, it really seemed to solidify things.
