Side skirt panels

I recently lost the side modeling/skirt on my 2001 Nissan Maxima SE 20th Annv. and it appears that it's not available through Nissan anymore. I am referring to the panel that is below the door, just the piece in the front (under the driver door) is missing and I'd like to replace it. Any idea where I can buy them? Used or new, doesn't matter unless it's too costly.

Take a look at this link. http://www.courtesyparts.com/maxima-...2092_2096.html It seems to be part # 76951M.

That's not what I'm talking about. It's the side skirts on the exterior of the vehicle, located below the doors.

If you look at this image:

It appears to be 76861R, however they are supposed to be two pieces that lay over each other. The only piece I am missing is the front piece under the driver door. The rear piece under the passenger door is still there.

I spent about half an hour searching on that site earlier to see if I could find it, but no luck.

I colored in the piece that's missing on my car red on this image.

The side skirts on the Anniv. Ed. are different than the skirts on the 2002-03. The AE was outsourced buy Nissan and installed at the port of entry. The 2002-03 were installed at the factory at time of assembly. I found this out when trying to find out how I could get the body kit for my Canadian AE, which did not get the body kits. Guess Nissan thought they would get pulled off when our sled dogs pulled our cars in winter

If Nissan has no more stock left, your only choices are to try and find a used one through our local auto recycler or purchase a new set of aftermarket skirts, ie Stillen.

I have thought about going the 2002-03 route. But when looking at the bottom of the car it appears to require drilling new holes, in the body, for installation.

Good luck.

This was going to be my next question. So I can only use the side skirts off a anniversary edition car? Man that is really going to limit the chances of finding them.

you can use the 02-03...there are lots of 00-01 members that put the 02-03 skirts on, that was my plan until i landed the AE skirts that i found. just got to find time to go pick up the rear lip then plan to take my car to the body shop to get touched up/paint/install parts

Yes - but one has to be prepared to put new holes in the body to mount them.
